The following is my experience travelling with AP, and I think I\'ll share it with everybody so it won\'t happen again to others.
I just got back yesterday after travelling overseas with AP. While I tried to pass the custom, the officer sent me to the Immigration office with my passport and AP. I then sit there for more than 30 minutes without being informed why. Eventually they called me in and told me that they couldn\'t find my A# on their system. Fortunatelly, the supervisor decided to let me in but copied all my documentation for verification later with INS. After I got home, I double-checked the A# on my AP with my other documentations, and found that INS made a mistake to print one extra digit to my A# and I guess that\'s why they couldn\'t find it in their system.
I thought INS saved all our information in their system and printed the APs when needed, and the A# should remain the same as other documentations. Obviously I was wrong.
I would like to remind everybody to double-check every single piece of information on your AP when you need to travel with it. And please also tell someone else if you know they\'ll travel on AP.
