!!!!!!! Please Read-Advice, VSC I-485, FP Issue!!!!!!

My 485 application filed in VSC and gave my finger print (FP) 8 months ago. Recently I have checked to see status of my case and it did not indicate the FP result was even received. I called VSC they couldn't tell much other than what I saw in the site. Does any one of have or heard any such scenario. Please, share any knowledge or if you have any advice - I will appreciate your help very very much. Thanks.

I am sure something is wrong with INS's system, not on your part.

Over the past 8 months, has your status ever indicated 'FP received'?

WHat is your current status saying ?

Have u ever called the FBI number to check on your FP status ? (search by 'FBI' to get that phoone number)
 
VSC FP issue

1. It never indicated FP received.
2. Current status just indicates that letter for FP has been sent
(dated over 8 months).
3. I did call FBI and they can onle go back 6 months old record.

beyond my knowledge, any gurus can take this ?

Here is what i can say:

If INS only indicated that "notice for FP has been sent", then your FP must have lost. Remember that the notice indicates that case will be void if no FP is done by a date ? If you can show some proof of FP taken, then the worse is that you will get a RFE; if you can't show a proof, i don't know, you may just have to argue ...
