2. Do they let you in with your spouse who has 1/2 hr. later appot?

I carried two pasport photos (three if you have expired passport), passport, Orginal approval, Infopass, and a I-94. Agent asked me whether i had EAD, i said i never applied. She took all documents, had a glance at my 485 for 2 seconds, opened an empty page in passport, stamped it, and asked me to fill some small form to get actual GC. I was off in 5 minutes.
I think if it is overly crowded, you can go together with your wife and get it done together.

Myself, my wife, and 2 kids all went together without any problem. I only booked one appointment for the family.
