my case got transferred in mid may. i got the interview letter in mid september. the interview was in early october.

Philadelphia office experience

After waited in Vermont for more than 18 months, my 485 case was transferred to Philadelphia for interview. I called the service center, and was told that I need to wait for another 12 months for the appointment. I tried to call the Philadelphia office, but they don¡¯t answer questions regarding to the status. Therefore, I decided to visit the office by person.

At there, I was told by a not-so-patient lady that I need to wait for ¡°a loooong time¡± for the interview. When I asked her how many months I should wait. She said: we don¡¯t know; there is NO time limit. I told her that my case had been waited in Vermont for more than 18 months. She said: we DON¡¯T CARE!
