please need advice!!!

hello, i`m an us citizen and i currently live abroad with my husband..........I did the (direct consular filling) for the cr1 visa and yesterday we finally received my husband`s passport with his visa...for what i understand he has 6 months to go to the states, now here is my question: can he go first(he has until october to travel) and then i will meet him there once i finish college( i`m graduating in december)since travelling anytime before december is imposible for me, would there be a problem once he gets to the port of entry. or do i have to travel with him to prevent any setbacks. i`ll appreciate any input. jacjaychris

I cant see there being any problem with him traveling on his own. Many CR1/IR1 holders travel on their own as many of these visa holders are living in their country of origin while their spouse is still residing in the US.
