Please need advice!!

undefinedundefinedundefinedHello I need some advice, my husband came here illegally from Nicaragua 6 years ago, we have been togather since 2003 and married since 2004, we dont know the first step to take here, he thinks we should wait to do anything until the laws change, but I think we should do something anything to get started at least, I want him to be able to travel back home and see his family, and be here legally and work freely, he has never got in trouble with the law here, can anyone Please advice what we should start with first? Thank you so much,,,,,,
 
My advice is to talk with an immigration attorney regarding your case.

Then go here ---> www.USCIS.gov

Are You a USC? If so you can petition your husband and then he can apply for a change of status.

The laws that change will not neccesarily be favorable for him especially if he has been here less than 5 years. It might hurt his case if he waits to do something. Talk with an attorney!
