Hi,
My six-year H1B visa is over, My wife has current EAD is valid until June 10th, 2003 and advanced parole is valid until October 15, 2003. we have applied her renewal EAD.
My wife wants to visit India, what are the documents she should carry? Does she will have to submit original copy of AP on the airport, any idea?

When she will come back after 10th June 03, she will not have her renewal EAD. Is that ok?

Thanks
Kaa

She has to carry atleast the AP, I-485 receipt notice and her passport. EAD is just for work authorization. Not having a valid EAD at the time of her entry just means that she cannot work after entering the US.

She should carry her passport, I-485 receipt and 3 original APs.
BCIS inspector will stamp on all the original APs and will keep one and return two to your wife (usually one AP should be retained at your home country's INS). Do not forget to fill I-94 before landing in USA. The inspector will stamp on the I-94 as "Adjustment of application". Keep the I-94 along with the passport all the time.
