Hi guys,
I am presently working on EAD which is expiring in August. I applied for EAD renewal in Feb form CSC, but till date haven't got the reciept.
Is it OK to send another application for EAD renewal???
I donot mind paying the fees again .Because I am working on EAD I am very worried.....

If the check that you sent has been encashed, you can be assured that your application for EAD will be processed (I do not know when though).

The WAC # will be printed on the back side of the check that you can use as reference. (Check with the financial institution for the details)

EAD Renewal

Hi,

Like you, I sent around first week of Feb. No receipt yet. My EAD expiries in May 2nd week.

So what do you say about my situation?

Yep , I guess we have to wait.

IndianAdr, we actually applied on the same date Feb 10th.
I am working on EAD and I have crossed 6 years limit .
So I am a little tensed with the whole reciept thing. My lawyer is of no help .I am dreading asking him if the checks were cashed and the WAC no from the back of the check...

Another option is to go to local INS office and get iEAD after 90 days. I read on this board that you can use a copy of your encashed check instead of EAD receipt notice to get the iEAD.

Last time I checked there were 4 months between March and August. I believe it is too early for you to panic. Give it some more time to get the receipt, you can always get an interim EAD. Anyway, I see you've got some helpful information about the cashed check.

and stuff like that are not very helpful thread names, I think stating the type of need you have will help attract the eyes of more people who may know how to help you. Personally I feel I'm opening few threads with such titles.
