guys,

I have few questions..any inputs would be greatly appreciated.
We have filed our I485 from NSC. We got married in april 02 and filed for 485 in july 02. Now our case has been transferred to local INS. MY AP is expired and I need to go to India. MY H4 visa is not valid as I worked on EAD for couple of months in the past but not now. Would there be any problems for reentering US if I apply for AP now and get it done in local Ins (Walk-in)before going to India. Which documents should I carry with me?

You should get AP in hand before leaving US.

Fill up the form for AP ( you can download it from INS) site or www.immihelp.com or www.murthy.com
take 2 phothographs, copy of I-485 reciept and pay the fees and also submit your Marriage certificate, you can get it from local INS.

But would there be any problems if I go to India now as my case is been transferred to local INS(the reason is- got married just before filing 485-I guess)
Would they consider this point when I'll get interview call??
