Please help

My labor certification got approved in EB3.(minimum requirement for my job position: BS with 3 months experience). I filed my I-140 on January 4, and the RD is 1/7/02. Recently I received the receipt notice from INS through my lawyer. It was typed like this: "Section: Mem of Profession w/Adv Deg. or of Exceptn\'l ability sec.203 (b)(2)." How does this happen? Did my lawyer make a mistake on the I-140 form? By the way, I do have a master degree.

u are right.

This is a grave blunder on ur attorney\'s part. It\'s definitely an EB2 140 with an EB3 labor. It will not be accepted by the INS. Better talk to ur attorney and fix this.

It\'s an error

INS might make you withdraw the petition and refile it. Sometimes they\'ll correct it if the attorney sends a letter but sometimes not.
