If the INS does not ask for it... don\'t bother
If they do ask.. then it is really your company\'s obligation to pay you that much as they are the one who promised it in writing.
In any case, I have heard a lot of RFEs, but not any asking for current salary..

You\'re not the only one
Lots of other people are in the same boat ( including me ). As long as your employer fills out the correct prevailing wage at the required places on each form , you should be fine .
