I`ve been in the US for more than 2 years.I entered the country with f1 visa. I attended an english program for 4 months then decided to transfer to another school. After I transfered the new school never gave me my I-20, then I thought this was suspicious and told them I was going to attend another school...they still did not give me my I-20. They put me out of status before the 60 day deadline. When I found anoher school they told me I had been out of status for almost a month (I left the school on april 2007 they put me out of status on may 2007
)I tried to convience them to correct their mistakes but they were unwilling to do so. By the way I started to prepare the documents for reinstatement but before I applied for reinstatement INS picked me up in July of 2007 and stayed in jail for 3 weeks. I paid $7500 bail and got out. In October of 2007 I received a letter says that I had not attended the court on September 2007. I had never received a letter about the court date. Afterall, I decided to file a motion to reopen the case but immigration court denied my request. I did not give up and requested for the case to be reopened from the DIA court of Virginia.They usually respond in 6-10 months but it`s been 13 months and they haven`t responded. What should I do now?
