One of my friend got his EAD approved in 2005 but couldn't use it as his wife was on H4 and EAD expired in Nov.2006. He maintained his H1 B status and lately his wife got EAD. Now he has applied for his EAD renewal a week ago and unfortunately he lost his job few days back. He has got a job offer from a company and they have asked him to use EAD. Can he start new job on his expired EAD or he need to do premium process for EAD. Please advise ASAP
