I got my passport stamped. My company is asking a copy of my stamped passport.

   My questions:

   1. Do I need to give a copy of my stamped passport to my employer?

   2. What is the impact on it in the future if I change jobs? i.e can they request GC cancellation based on this document.

I dont think they can do any such thing. You might need a legal opinion. But you know what, why do you care. If you are able to avoid it go ahead and avoid it.
