Who decides the DOT code on Labor Certification...is it the lawyer or DOL??
Plus if the approved DOT code does not match(or is not defined as such) defined skills in the 750A and B will it cause any issuess for I 140.

Please help Gurus
 
It's SWA or SESA (state agency for DOL) who assigns the DOT code. DOT code is based on Job title/description given in 750A.

What about my second question if skills defined in ETA750 are not matching the approved Alien Occupation( if DOT did not bother much to find a most appropriate DOT code) ...than is there any problem in I140 approval... This is not a problem of applicant as he gave the right description but if DOT has misinterpretted that ..can it effect I140
