I am planning a trip to Canada with my family next weekend. Can anyone please let me know from Which compnay I should rent the car? And are there any special requirments or paperwork to rent the car?

Also I am planning to take with me all the Canada paperwork (landing documents), passports and bank statements, list of things to follow. Is there anything else which I am missing here, any guidance, tips, suggestions are most welcome.

Would anyone like to help? Please tell me what all I need to take with me for landing through Detroit by road.

Thanks bhand for your reply. I got the rental car booked through "Dollar". Can you please shed some light on what documents I need to take with me.

Right now I am aware of:
-Passports
-Landing documents
-Bank Statements

Am I missing anything?
 
Would bank statements work or I have to have Cashier's Check, we just bought a house and I am short on cash but putting bank statements together I may be able to prove that money.

You are supposed to carry a cashiers cheque officially but it is totally dependant on the discretion of the custom/immigration officer .
