Received my RFE today....

BCIS has sent me RFE for Employment letter with position description, salary , hire date and last 2 months paystubs.

I lost my job(laid off) in 2 months after filing for my I485..........do you guys think it might get me into trouble. Sorry for asking again.......I am just panicking here!!!! Does AC21 apply to me also? I am presently working with a different company in a different state.

U r perfectly fine. As long as u have a job with similiar skills and matching sallary, u r ok. don't worry

Follow the instructions to the letter, i.e. no need volunteer information about losing job.

As long as you have an approved I-140 and I-485 is pending for 6+ months you are eligible for GC

In a cover letter, your lawyer should mention that you qualify for GC under AC21

Yours is a straightforward case similar to many on this board and I have not seen any denials anywhere yet
