I am J2 visa holder and working on EAD. My employer filed for an H1-B for me. A month after that my husabands employer filed H1-B for him. Now my husband's H1-B has been approved while mine is still in process.
a. when does my husabnd's status changes from j1 to H1-B? from the day of approval or when he signs some papers to take his new appointment?
b. what happens to my status and EAD? can i keep on working on my EAD untill my husband has official notification from his employer regrading his H1-B approval? (we know that it has been approved from online status).
c. when my H1-B gets approved, can I simply switch to H1-B and continue working?
if anyone can provide any answers to these questions, i'll really appreciate it. Thanks a lot.
