Hi,
My situation is kind of unique. I had an interview for citizenship and the officer asked me to send him records and a full court docket of a misdemeanor ticket(disorderly conduct) which I got 6 years ago. (I declared it on my application). I did not get arrested or imprisoned for it. I was just fined $100 in court. I sent all the required documents to them, and still waiting for over 6 weeks with no answer. Now that I've moved to a different state, and I wonder if I should change my address since I'm afraid it will put more time on my case.
Do you know if I can be denied for citizenship and if so, can I reapply in the future? Is a change of address can put more time on my case? Should I do it, since I did inform the officer about my moving out of state for work, and I might come back. He said it's ok. Any help is well appreciated.
Thanks,
Howard
