Can you help me with the following questions? I couldn't find exact answers from their instructions.

If I'm the sponsor of I-864, do I need to have the form notarized (by my bank for example)before mailing to USCIS?

Do I need to have a employment verification letter? Can I submit tax returns, W-2 and recent pay stubs instead. It's not difficult to get the letter, but if not necessary, I can save that time.

My parents are the applicants. They have been here in the US for three years. They have a notarized "no criminal history" certificate for the time before coming to the US. Do they need to get police clearence from our local city police department for the time in the US?

Thanks a lot

No notarization of I-864 is required. You don't need to submit any proof of your current income per the instructions but it certainly will help make for a more convincing case. Remember, you're trying to convince USCIS that you can meet the income requirement with the evidence you submit. If you feel that your current paystubs and W-2 are convincing enough (we felt this way when we submitted our I-864) then you don't need a separate employer letter. They might request one later, though, if they want more information.
