Please help when should we have to contact congress men

How many days before we have to contact the congressman??
My RD is June 2002 . when should i have to contact them.

What is the procedure to contact them.
 
canus_immi with all due respect for your case let us not over kill the process. If everybody starts going to their local congressman then they would pass a law to not to bother them. I think the Oct, Nov01 followed by Dec01 guys should contact the local congressmen first. My RD is 3rd week of January. I would wait another couple of months. I think that is the last option.
 
when the processing time has passed your RD. you're way too early to contact anyone. That will only annoy the congressman
and do harm to your case.
