I got I-140 approval. I just came to know, my company (H1B holder) name changed not ownership. I worried about my H1B extension for 7th year and I-485 filing ?
This is great forum with tons of experts and experienced people. (Certainly I am not one of them).
But what kind of help are you expecting from this forum. All I can make out from your mail is angush and anxiety.
Ask your attorney, they will be able to tell you. If your company has just changed their name and not the business I m sure they will have papers to prove that. And with those papers in place, your attorney should be able to convince USIS and make a smoother road for you.
