Hello,
I came across your contact address on internet, I will really appreciate if you could please assist me here:
I'm on B2(tourist) visa and have been to US last year in summer to meet my brother who is studying in USA, now I have completed my Masters(Computers) in India and would like to come to US on H1B visa, although I don't have any experience but have knowledge/skills in various latest IT technologies and have done few projects during my Bachelors degree in India, and further I have an excellent academic background and have got my degree with Distinction/Honors.
I'm considering these 2 options:
1) Either I can apply for H1B this year in General Quota from a US Employer while in India and can stamp my H1B visa in October from US Consulate in India.
-- OR --
2) If I apply for H1B visa for this year's general quota while in india and then if i come to US (i.e. before October) and get a H1B visa stamping from Canada or Mexico instead of India...will it be easier to get stamping from Canada rather than India?
So, which option is better or if you have any other suggestions besides these, I'll highly appreciate it!
Thanks!
Minu
