Please Help!! Stamping in Chennai

Hi,
I came to US on H4 and then got my H1 and I have been working from 2 1/2 years.
I changed to new company recently.
My old company W2's shows 4K salary less than the one specified on LCA.
Will it pose any problems while I go to stamping in Chennai?

it depends on how much that 4k constitutes as a percentage of your total salary..your total wages in W2 should be at least 95% of the LCA..thats what my friend's lawyer told him..

experts may have diff view..

Your salary should be equal to or greater than LCA salary. If your salary is lower, LCA should be amended to reflect lower salary. Otherwise expect problems in getting visa, specially in Chennai.
