I got rfe for doing my medical again.
My wife got rfe for birth certificate even though we had submitted the birth certificate when we filed for I-485. We had also submitted affidavits from her parents along with the birth certificate. The RFE states that my wife has to submit a letter from the indian government stating that it is not necessary to have the name in the birth certificate. Her birth certificate doesn't have her name in it because it was taken at the time of her birth and they hadn't named her yet. That's why we submitted affidavits in the first place. Has anybody heard of a similar rfe. Please help. Rfe also mentions that we can submit school records with her name and parents name and date of birth in it.
