please help regarding transit visa!!!!!!!

hi, me and my wife are on advance parole and we are planning to travel to india with in this 2 or 3 days and we have a ticket blocked in emirites and its goes via paris and whille returning we have a waiting for 24hrs for the connecting. So is it ok to travel via paris and do we need transit visa, and we dont have time to apply for one so what are the options we have :( . please help if some one knows about it. thanks in advance:)

I had a similar problem last year with a transite thru CDG. Delta's documentation said a transit visa was required and they did not allow me to board without one. However, i went to the consulate in SFO and they told me that i did not require one. Delta admitted mistake and put me on J class.

This was Feb 2003.

Check what your airline says first, you should be able to find the transit requirements thru your airline's website.
