Hello everyone

Everything seemed to be going GREAT until we received this letter from NVC stating that my husband (petitioner) has to send in and Affidavit of support fee bill of $70 and i need to fill out DS-3032 choice of agent and address. From what i understand, to me NVC would send this only if the applicant was doing consular processing.

I have already applied for adjustment of status here so i dont know why they would send this to us. We did send this change to USCIS b4 the approved I-130 was sent to NVC, called NVC on 2 occasions to let them know, plus sent letters so i dont know where the mistake comes from. I sent another letter explaining this to them so i hope this will be cleared up.

Does anyone think that this would create some problem or has anyone been in my situation?

See my timeline below

I think you posted earlier regarding switching from CP to AOS. Your prior notifications were not logged into system, the process took its course and you got package from NVC.

You have done your part in informing both CIS and NVC. Your AOS is moving along smoothly. So I don't think it is a problem. You can write to them again with your NVC case # to inform that you have switched to AOS.

Yes thank u for your reply......i have sent another letter to the NVC regarding my switch to AOS...so i'm awaiting a favourable response from them ;)

I just dont understand why we try our best to write letters and make phone calls, and make changes to cases and they just dont take heed of these stuff.....then they mess up our applications...and then ppl like me get all crazy and flusterred about stuff. I am a very organised person so i keep copies of everything i send to them, therefore there is no way they can say i didnt send it.

Thank you.
