Hi Guys,
I know I shouldn\'t post this message here. But I want an expert opinion on this. Please do read this
I need help from you guys. My friend applied I-140 (VSC) through one of the useless lawyer. He is screwing up every case.
The problem my friend having is,
He got BE Mechanincal and ME Mechanical degrees from India. When he applied for the labour certification the advertisement states that,
Bachelors degree in computer science with 2 years of experience is needed. Now INS coming back to my friend and saying that your concentration of study is Mechanical only. So, we won\'t approve your I-140.
But when my friend talked to the lawyer, he says he got the education evaluation that says his degree is equivalent to B.S computer science in US (evaluated his degree in US with one of the evaluators). Is this argument stands good??? Lawyer says he is going to send the education evaluation to INS. Is this ok to answer the INS query in this way?? Any insight in this problem would be greatly appreciated. Because he should get the I-140 approval as soon as possible since his H-1 period is expiring in October 2001.
Thanks lot for any help.
