Hi everyone


i was granted withholding of removal based on asylum in 2005
and now i'm married to a citizen since october 2009
can i change or adjust my status now to
a green card holder

I do hate you...Mr/Ms don't hate me....lol!!! Unless you were issued a GC based on your asylum filing, you can't claim to be a GC holder. However, you can apply for a family based GC as a beneficiary of a petition filed your spouse. In other words, you can obtain a GC without continuing with the asylum application, but normal GC issues for a spouse of a US citizen. Good luck...and I don't hate you...lol!!

And GC is not for American Express GREEN CREDIT CARD
