Please help on FOIPA and name check etc.

Hi, can anyone please give me some information on how to file FOIPA and getting status on the FBI name check. I am in St. Louis, MO. My priority date was 3/18/2004, finger print date was 4/27/2004, and interview date was 8/10/2004, and everything passed. But after that, I have not heard anything. Two other people I know in St. Louis all got their oath notices within 2 months of interview last year. Wondering why mine took so long. I read on this forum about filing FOIPA to FBI to expedite the name check process, can someone please provide details on how to do this or give me any suggestions. Thank you so much. Stan

I am in the same situation like you. I went to DO on Jan 12th to check on it and the lady there told me that I should wait for one year before doing anything about it. My name check is pending and FBI found no record when i sent in FOIPA request. That lady also told me that its not just FBI that does the name check there are 36 other agencies involved.

Prority date: 04/23/04
Finger print: 07/15/04
Interview: 10/08/04
