Please help...NSC 485 FP - RFE Reply with wrong A#

hi! everyone,
I got a FP notice which I got it done. The yellow RFE form was recd, in response to the RFE my lawyer put the wrong A# on it and mailed it to NSC. I called her up and mentioned it, she asked me to relax saying that supporting documents are with your A# so they will know where to put it. I still don\'t feel convinced. Can that create a problem for me...?

If by supporting document you mean copy of EAD card, then I am not very convinced unless the lawyer wrote the A# on the documents also. The A# on the EAD is pretty small and hard to notice unless you look carefully. Problem is there is no name on the yellow form so if it falls in the hands of a lazy govt. worker and they put the whole bunch directly in the file, you may be out of luck. If they remove the yellow form before sticking it into the file and the A# is clearly visible, you may get lucky. I feel your lawyer is just trying to cover his/her ass and keep you off their back. Maybe you should think about calling an IIO to see if they can help.

I did recieve a copy of the documents she sent to NSC from her and it has my name written on top. Instead of calling the IIO should I just resend the copy of what my lawyer sent along with a note. Will that be OK?
