my name is luke. i am from canada. 3 years ago....i started talking to a girl online....we fell in love. at this moment....i am 21 and she is 19. i have taken 2 trips to go see her. 4 weeks all together....when we came together in person for the first time. we found out that the love we had online/phone....turned out to be 100 times more amazing in person. so amazing that i am wanting to move to america just to be with her.

she is from taunton ma. i am from canada. my trips costed around 4 grand. for 2 weeks! so it came out to about 8 grand for 4 weeks. that is allot of money!
in the area she lives the best hotel i could find was $99.00 us a night.
we started talking about how long i could stay if i were able to live in an apartment. we realized that the money i spent on my 2 trips all together...i could of lived in taunton for over 4 months....

it's the worst feeling.....knowing when i come see her......i will have to leave in 2 weeks. i hate it. she hates it so much. she allways cries and stuff. cause she know's that she will not see me for along time.

what i am wanting is to be able to stay in america without having to say goodbye in a short time. where i could rent out an apartment. pay rent. work at a normal job. target, pet co, something normal...enough to keep everything grounded. where i could pay rent. buy food ect. living in taunton ma without saying goodbye in 2 weeks.

what do i need to make this possible?

we dont plan on getting married. maby in the future....what i am wanting is to be able to live in taunton ma for as long as possible. where i could work. pay rent. i know some good rental apartments. but that means nothing without eveything worked out perfect.

please let me know the details on what i have to do to make this possible.
my life depends on this. i cant handle being so far away from her. i cant handle taking trips every 5 months to go see her.

FYI, as a Canadian Citizen, the easiest way to come here for employment would be a TN visa and not an H-1. What are you qualifications and would you qualify for a TN visa?

My suggestion?

I've seen old college friends go through the same thing, some successfully, others not. Finish school in Canada, its way cheaper. Get a university degree, I can tell by your writing style that you may not have started this yet. Keep in touch with your girlfriend long distance while your in school. If you manage to stay together after the test of time and long distance, then get a TN visa and move in with her. If you break up by then, at least you have an education, and you'll know that it wasn't meant to be. There are lots of fish in the sea, and the internet is not the only place to go fishing for them.

Your other option is to marry her and sponsor her to come live with you in Canada. If you had $8000 to blow on a trip, you seem rich enough (albeit young and unwise) to have enough money waiting around around to sponsor her.
