I'm pregnant by 7th months mine due date is on may 2004 . But my husbad s H1b 6th year expiring in april 2004 . We were waiting for our 7th year extension as our lawyer told that he filed our LCA last year in april 2003. But now we came to know that he didn t file our LCA.
(1)what options do we have? Can we get extension for a couple of months because i will not be in a position to travel at that time?
(2)Will this effect to our insurance ?

Your husband can try to recapture the time he spent outside the country. Say, he was on vacation for a total of 2 months, and he spent those 2 months out of the US - then you can apply to recapture that time. Be aware that this recapture is not always successful.

Another option you may want to consider is to get a student visa. Enroll in a local univ/college as a international student. Get the I-20 from them. Change your husband's visa from H1 to F1 (since you're pregnant, I am assuming your husband will need to enroll and not you).
