Please help me with 485 filing

My NIW based 140 was approved and I'm ready to file 485. Since my wife is going to file together with me , I have the following questions, please help. Thanks in advance.

1) In the 485 form, there is a question "if the husband/wife applying with you". If I check "YES", do I still need to file a seperate 485 form for my wife?

2) If my wife file with me and we have two seperate forms, should we mail all these documents in one or two seperate packages? I am thinking that INS may only locate one application and forget the other one if we mail our applications in one package.

Yes, you should fill in 2 forms, one for you and one for your wife. Send both applications in one package. You can emphasize it by printing out one page like "family pack of 2, please donot separate".
