Please Help me to understand this strange message

got strange message for I-140 approval. Anybody got this message earlier?

Guys,

I received strange message today. not sure what it means. I got RFE for I-140 and asked for 2001 financial statements of company and w2 of mine. my case is not denial and re-opened case.

here is the message:
On September 27, 2004, we mailed you a notice that we certified our approval of this case and sent it to the appellate body for review. The notice explains in detail the basis for this proposed action. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283.

Please advise...

This indicates that your case has been approved and It has been send to appellate body for routine review. I heard that some cases are sent to appellate body, just to confirm the approval.

At this point, your case has been approved....

We both are in same boat. I spoken with my attorney today and forwarded her the e-mail, which I received from USCIS. She was thinking this is really weird, they might sent wrong message and she was sayig generally people get this type of message after approval, when the case is denied and motion-to-reopen cases. My case is not denied and I was querried for 2001 company financial statement.

She told me that, she will try to get information from various sources.

Let me know, if you here anything.

But not abe to understand why only my case sent for appellate body for routine review. Any special reason? or I am not with GC filed company?

I guess it is just a random picking. How do USCIS know that you are not with the sponsor company? Did you send AC 21 letter with your I-140 RFE reply???

I have also received same message. Have any of you recevied the notice letter? If yes, can you please post the details on the reasons they have given in notice?

Check out this thread. In a 485 case primary got a "Appellate Body" clause and dependent's 485 was approved.

This case gives some hope.
