I need help on when can I file my citizenship. Here's a quick timetable of all my trips.

Am I also eligible for 4 years 1 day? If so, when would be the date I can apply for citizenship? I'm a GC holder since 1998 and had it renewed. My GC will expire on 2018.

I've read posts and said that the 4yr 1 day rule ONLY applies if you were out of the country for more than 1year and NOT if you were out less than 1 year.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do. I don't know if I should get a lawyer to help me prove that I didn't disrupt my residency.

Please give me a light on this. Thank you!

I've read posts and said that the 4yr 1 day rule ONLY applies if you were out of the country for more than 1year and NOT if you were out less than 1 year.

It also applies to trips of between 6 months and a year.

If you use the 4 year and 1 day rule you can apply on 09/27/2014 (4 years and 1 day after the 183-day trip in 2010).
