Please help me !!!!!!! It's urgent ( DV winner from Nigeria )

Hello everybody,
I am a DV 2009 winner from Nigeria.I have an issue that have been giving me sleepless nights concerning my case.

I made a mistake on my form DS-230, i filled in the wrong DOB ( 1982 ) but i actually played the lottery with 1980.After noticing this mistake,i called KCC and i was instructed to fill a new Form DS-230 with all the correct info and attach a small note stating that there was a mistake in my first form.I have filled the new Form and sent it back to KCC using fedex about 2 months ago.
I want to know if this would pose any problems for me during my interview.Please help me out with any advice u can give me .I am scared that the counsular might want to make reference to the old form with the mistake !

Don't worry, you took care of it by mailing the new forms with correct DOB. KCC is pretty good at updating records like this.
 
yes,i played the lottery with my correct DOB.Thanks so much for your response.I was worried that the presence of the old form might affect me during my interview.
 
i have already filled out the new forms with my correct DOB and it has been received by KCC.I was told that all forms including the first one with the mistake will be included to my case file and sent to the embassy.....i am only scared that the presence of that old form might affect me during my interview.Let me know what you guys think !
 
There is no probelm if you birth certificate is ok and not dated after you sent the electronic application. In that case its likely that they deny the visa.

I hope this DOB doesn't become a negative issue for you. I would, however, request that you post the outcome on this thread and help others in the future know how similar cases are handled. Thanx :)

I am not sure what more information you are looking for.

What happened anyway....did you temporarily forget your own birthdate? (or did you get a new birth certificate?)
