Hi Guys
I need your expert advise in the following matter.
I filed my I-485 last year in May and waiting to get the approval very soon. Last month I came on bench. My company reduced my salary to about 60% of the original and I know that they will lay me off very soon. Now I got another permanent very good job offer and the new company want me to start ASAP. My problem is if I leave my sponsoring company they will notify the INS. What shall I do ? shall I get a letter from new company and inform INS about it or shall I join the new company and don\'t inform the old company and let the job continue there. Can I work on two jobs with EAD ? what is the best solution ?

Doesnt Matter as long as you have a "similar" job.

Even if your employer withdraws I-140...I read this on murthy.com (searching the chat logs) Of course if INS comes-up with a new interpretation of AC21 then we are screwed... You say RD=May2001 so you should be OK. Just hang in there ...

This may be hearsay

From what i\'ve heard if 180 days from RD have passed and your employer has not cancelled I-140 then he cannot cancel your application. and you can change jobs with same description after 180 days. But it is always better to confirm with the lawyer. Please also share the response from lawyer with us.
