Need your suggetions

My I-485 Approved on november 8th 2004 and Made an appointment via Infopass got all of our family member Passports stamped on December 3rd 2004. I asked the officer whether I can change the address ,.Then she said I can over write the address on I-485 Approval notices and finished all the formalities with them. But As of today I didn't receive my cards. I have sent the AR -11 Forms to London KY and I called NCS 800 number updated my new address on February 16th 2004. After that I Received a letter from TX Service center saying that I need to make an appoint via infopass to get the passport stamp.. But I have done that all process on December 3rd 2004. Even I called several times to NSC 800 number every time I am getting diffrent response.. Finally I filed G-731 T form on March 23th 2004 to enquire the status.,, Do you guys think they might have lost our finger ptints and pic after my passport stamp. We are planning to travel around in next 3 months,. Please advise me if anyone come accross similar situations. Also please guide me should I wait some more time or go to Local USCIS office.

Please give me as much ideas you can...

I was in a similar situation in 2001...she told us to write new address on the 485 approval notices...but it was still not updated in their system...so after a year, the actual plastic cards were sent to the old address..( which was luckily my friends permanent address, as I had the foresight to give a more permanant address than my then apartment address)
