Hello everyone,
My DV number is EU34XX I sent my I-485 to Chicago on the 1st of November and on the 1st of December i got the rejection notice which says the fee increased as of October 26 2005. $325 for application fee and $70 for finger print fee. But in Septemer i sent the $375 fee to Department of State and got the receipt. I also sent this receipt with my I-485. After the rejection I thought that I am $20 short so I sent $20 check to Chicago but they again sent the rejection notice. :( I lost 2 months already :( My question is this $375 fee that we paid to Department of State is separate from this $325 application fee???? Please whoever knows reply to me.

- $375 fee to Department of State must be paid separately. You have all the instructions in ur Notification Letter. You just need to fill out a little form and send to correct address. After a week or so u get a stamped form.

- For AOS u can get lost of information here. Where to file, etc.

There is a fee for I-485. $325 plus $70 biometrics services = $395.
 
you can even take even only one money order check for $395 dollars and sent to USCIS, they will take care about distributing them between fingerprints(70$) and 325$ for the form I-485 itself :-) good luck ! i also "working" with chicago USCIS :-)
 
yeah thats what i did finally and i sent it out today and we will see.:) The thing is your DV number 6XX mine 3XX you have interview on the1st of february but me:(( look at my bad luck heuehue :) i am happy about you borya :) so what do you think after the interview how long you will wait to get your green card???
 
i am really afraid to say that, but if everything will be ok on my interview and i will get stamp in my passport, i should get GC within 2 weeks by regular mail :-) let's see.....
