My I-485 Application is pending for more than a year now in CSC. (WAC-01-290-***** RP 9/24/01)
My current EAD expires on 12/01/02.
My lawyer just applied my EAD extension (10/20) and is telling me that it takes 90 days for approval for EAD extension and we can get an Interim EAD only after the 90 day period.
Is that mean I can not work from 12/01 till I have my EAD extension approved? What is my status then? What effect will it have on my 485 Application?
If I can get an interim EAD before 90 days, how?
I live in the Bay Area, can I go to the San Jose, CA INS office and apply for an interim EAD?
Has anybody done or know anybody who got EAD extension in San Jose office?
Is it possible to get the EAD extension or interim EAD the same day I go to the SJ office?
