My 3rd FP date was Jan 8th and I was in India till now.........haven't done it yet................am I doomed? Can I still get my FP done and how?

Also I have got a RFE on Feb 2nd..................not sure what it is about!!!!!:(

Please do not panick as this might be perceived as a sign of weakness. Relax until you get your RFE.
You are no less doomed than anybody else with or without a second FP. You can go to any center for your third FP, whether the second one expired or not. It looks like your file is being cleaned from dust. Enjoy your RFE and soon your approval.
 
Thanks for the reply. But is it possible to go anytime or anyday for 3rd FP? Is getting FP done so flexible?
 
fp is not a problem

you can go any day and have the fp done.

in my case too , the fp notice took time to come to my new addrees due to change of address.

so by the time i got it the fp day had already expired .

so i sent them back my fp asking for a new saturday , explaining the reason.

they have given me new fp date and it is mentioned that after new fp date expiry also I have 87 more days

so it is not a problem , but go to center asap and do the fp if pending
 
Don't Panick

Call the NSCS and reschedule your fingerprints. You can reschedule your fingerprinting 180 days from the day of finger print.
 
First of all do not panick.

Do go to nearest FP service centre and get ur FP done. Even if they ask for such delay, do submit ur evidence such as boarding pass stub or PP stamp or newly issued I-94 card.

You should be fine. All the best.
 
i beleive u should be able to do it anytime within 6 months after the date too. This is my assumption. If I were u, i would go to the INS office and see what they have to say, u have a valid reason for not doing the FP on the specified date.
 
No need to panic. I did my finger printing almost 2 months after scheduled FP date. I think you can do FP at any time within 13 weeks after scheduled date.

No body mention that 3rd FP is a mistake from BCIS.

Please make it clear for us.

3rd FP is mistake of USCIS. As if there is no other work to do they have issued 3rd FP for lot of folks, even when 2nd FP is valid for another year or so. So RELAX and enjoy your RFE, which means you are right there in front of an approval.

For all they would say when you go to ASC, we have mistakenly sent you the 3rd Fp. Be prepared with the docs for the RFE.

How come you have around 400+ posts and have not taken this well? You should know better.
