Hi!
I am an international student in Canada and have a valid study permit and student visa for Canada.
I have a tourist visa for the USA and when I came back to Canada after a short trip by road, the Canadian customs and border person didn't keep my I-94, he left it on my passport as such and nor did he stamp my arrival into Canada. My I-94 is valid till next few months and is it okay if I didn't submit it the last time as I can submit it anytime before it expires, right?
Even the CBP person at the time of my entry into the USA told me that I don't need to give it back to the canadian border person if I am planning to revisit USA before this I-94 expires. He also said that I must return it before it expires and which I will definitely do on my second trip.
Please advise.
