My priority date is January 27th 2004.
My original employer laidme off on Decemebr right after my I-140 was approved. However they are my friends (they just cant afford my services anymore) and they told me not to worry, they will help me as much as I can.
I am ROW EB3
In the event that my priority date becomes current, and I apply for I-485 (with a current job offer from my previous employer) can I switch employers after 6 months or do I have to go back to work for them? I have another job now and they are willing to help me too.
TIA for all your help

Your PD is just around the corner (08/03).
Yes, you can switch employer after I-485 pending for 180 days.

If your PD doesn't become current in coming months, you can also switch jobs and keep your PD based on your approved I-140. You will however need to obtain new LC through PERM (pretty quick).

no!!! I dont want to do that!!! Too much money already spent in lawyers!!!!
My previous employer said the will give me a offer letter (which according to my lawyers is all I need)
I just wanted to know what do you think, and if BCIS will request evidence I am working with them or will they process the I-485 based on a FUTURE offer. Because this employer will help me, I just dont want to start over (awfyl for my head, my pocket and very depressing, after all these years waiting)

You can start I-485 based on the future employment, however, company needs to be the same one that did LC and I-140.

It is the same
Also my new employer just love me! They said the will give me any letter for BCIS that I need. I hope my i-485 wont be approved in 6 months then LOL

And Another Question
Are They Gonna Request Any Evidence From The First Employer Given That Gc Is Based I Future Offer?

That is all? God bless you man!!!
I was so concerned, I taugh they keep asking for their company tax records and such, like in i-140

last question (and BTW thanks!!!!)
The g-28 notice of entry of attorney on this stage has to be signed by me as well and not by the company correct!
Thanks in advance!
