Please please share your information as much you can. Please help me on this issue.
We interviewed for I-485 based on marriage on OCT 05, 2004, the interview went very well except my wife name was different on birth certificate and marriage certificate. Officer asked for that and my wife answer that she was adopted. The officer requested us to submit an Adoption decree, we try to find out but she was not adopted as per her mother information. Now we can not have Adoption decree. My attorney says to submit an AFFIDAVIT for explaining about the adoption and misunderstanding, and change of name explain in it. The officer didn’t ask any other papers or documents, She took my I-94 with her and give me a letter that requesting documents with in 90 days. All interview went very well no question at all.
Please advice,
1. Do they accept Affidavit?
2. How much chances are they will approve this case?
3. If this case denied do they issue a deportation letter?
4. How much time they give to submit another case with BCIS (INS)?
5. If we submit another I-485 with I-130 do they consider it?
6. Is the denial letter will effect on the new case?
Please answer as much as you can. Experts please advice.
Thanks. and looking forward to your replys.
