My I-140 was denied due to "ability to pay" issues. What happen was that i was working in company A and then the company changed its name to company B and became a new entity completely different than Comp A. I worked in company A from 1999-2005 and then comp B from 2005 to present. but USCIS wants proof of ability to pay prevailing wages from 1999-2005 from the old company. the only problem is how to get these files when they might have been thrown when the company changed. are there any other documents that can be used to prove that the old company had ability to pay from 1999-2005? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
