Please Help !!! How to trigger FBI name check?

My case is pending from long. I know visa numbers are no longer available but I wanted to findout whether my case is pending because of fbi name check or not. From the feedback i received from other members, I contacted my local senator to check the status of my case. Yday I received letter saying no visa numbers are available & also my FBI namecheck is not completed yet.

Can someone please help me with this. Is there anyway to check trigger FBI name check? do i have to call uscis & tell them that my fbi namecheck / security is still pending ?

Please help me.

Don't worry too much now. Actually you can't do anything right now, even through senator or congressman. I have tried them all. You can see from my signature, I am pretty much in the same boat as you, but I don't complain much. Whatever information you got eithere from your inquiry or from your congressman, it means what it says. There is a system just blindly running, we are just among the unlucky guys were picked up for special treatment. I read from other forum, it seems FBI is speeding up to reduce back logs from 2003 and 2004 cases. Hopefully we can get our name cleared before retrogression ends. Just relax and wait.
