Please Help H1 Reval Question

Hi Gurus,


I am in US from past three years and sent my H1 for revalidation to SL in May 5th 2003 and waiting for my PP to be back .
I got my new H1 with new I94 valid till nov -2005.
In the month of Jan - Mar 2003 our company had a pay cut so the salary received in these three months was less than as mentioned in LCA after that everything became alright.
I had never been on bench and have all the paystubs from past three years.


Is any one with similar issue has faced something.

Will this be a issue.

Please reply.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

H visa stamping is based on a valid H1 approval. Changes in your salary is of no consequence.
It is taking upto 3 months for Dept of State to revalidate visas.

I read in several threads that H visa guys are getting query from the consulate asking then to explain why the salary is less than on LCA. Mostly because some of them didn't got paid for months bacause on bench.

It looks like they go back and look into your history and find out about the salary or may be find from the IRS records tax returns.

I was trying to look from that side.

Any updates or suggestion
