Please help: forgot to send photos with N400

I mailed my N400 application 3 days ago with necessary fees. However, I forgot to attach my photos and GC copy. What will happen now? Will they reject or return my application? Should I send the photos and GC copy separately in express mail tomorrow? Please advice. Can I call them tomorrow? I mailed it to california service center, Laguna Niguel.

thanks in advance,
Sidharth

Sidharth, i would wait until you hear back from USCIS. Hopefully they will go ahead and issue a receipt with case number and do and RFE afterwords. If you send your pix and GC copy with out a reference to a case number it might just get lost in the piles of papers they receive.

Good Luck!

When I applied, I sent a check for $390 instead of $400 (due to incorrect info. on the USCIS website). I got the whole shooting-match back with a standard letter asking me to resubmit with the correct amount, which I did.

The first thing that happens when you submit is that somebody checks that they have all the necessary stuff even to accept the application and move it forward.

Your case is analagous - I imagine it will be returned with the check uncashed. If not, wait a couple of weeks for a receipt letter. If none appears, call the 1-800 number or go to your local DO to seek advice.

Actually, if I recall correctly someone on this forum mentioned that when he went for his interview, the officer said there were no photos and he provided 2 additional ones (he had taken extras).

So, there might also be the situation where your case just progresses as normal and you take the photos to your interview. Either way, you'll find out soon - either with a receipt notice or when your application gets returned.
