Please help!!!! change in company name

my company name will be changed , not the whole name but the last one which is now "xxxx Technologists" to " xxxx Technology".
how does this effect my h1-b status.
do i need to refile my h1 application.

any info is highly appreciated.

You don\'t need to refile...

Just carry a letter on your company letterhead indicating that the name was changed and you should be fine.

My previous company had gone through a name change and the lawyer told me there was no need to refile as long as the tax id of the company has not changed.

Hi there,

I have a H1 visa stamp in my passport with company name: A. My H1 petition(I797 Notice of Action, H1 approval document) also has the company name A.

A changed its name to B recently but it retained its tax id and all other information. My wife is going to go for H4 stamping and my employer has given a letter (In company B letter head) saying i am employed by them. Also our Human Resources Director had sent me a copy of memorandum addressed to INS officials explaining the name change.

What are the chances of my wife\'s H4 visa getting rejected because of
this name change? Also, If she is able to get a H4 visa, What would be the petitioner name in her H4 visa?
